Analytics in this browser

On — help us improve the games

Summary

  • We run our own first-party analytics. There is no Google Analytics and there are no advertising or social-media trackers on this site.
  • We do not set cookies for players.
  • We do not store IP addresses.
  • Your browser keeps a random anonymous ID in local storage so we can tell new players from returning ones. It is not linked to your name, email address or any account.
  • You can switch analytics off for this browser at any time with the switch on this page.

What we collect

When you open a page or play a game, your browser sends us:

  • the address of the page and of the page that linked you here (the referrer), including campaign tags such as utm_source;
  • game events, such as starting and finishing a round, the score, how long the game was being played, and error messages if a game crashes;
  • technical details: browser and operating system family, device type, screen width, language and time zone;
  • the country of your network connection, as reported by our hosting provider;
  • the random anonymous ID and a session ID created by your browser.

What we do not collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, precise locations or IP addresses. Your IP address is used only for a moment to deliver the page and to block abuse, and is never written to our database. We do not fingerprint devices or track you across other websites.

Why we collect it

To understand which games people enjoy and where they get stuck, to find and fix crashes, and to see which channels (search, social media, links) bring players to our games.

Where the data is kept

Analytics data is stored in our own database and is not sold or shared with advertisers. Raw events are deleted after 25 months.

Data stored by the games

Games may save things like your best score or whether you have finished the tutorial in your browser's local storage. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Your choices

  • Use the switch at the top of this page to turn analytics off (or back on) for this browser.
  • If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not store the anonymous ID. Your visits are counted with a hash that changes every day and cannot be linked across days.
  • Clearing your browser's site data removes the anonymous ID.

Children

Our games are suitable for all ages. We do not have accounts and do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
